Spoke to LL this morning she is currently at Chez JP. It was great to hear them both having so much fun, hopefully LL will be venturing West soon, very exciting, shall have to intorduce her to Cheeky Vimto…(JP was totally disgusted at my suggestion of Ribena and Champagne).

So yay!!! Can’t wait to meet you face to face LL, you will be very welcome at Casa Speedy/Benji.

I somehow got a headache while I was at the 43things dinner. A guest of Surly’s recommended that I try to squeeze my big toe and little toe at the same time. LL goaded me into it, and even took an action shot!

The only disappointing aspect to the Las Vegas meetup, was not getting to meet Rick… who put SO much effort into organising everything.

Rick, we had an amazing time… so sorry that you took ill and missed the fun. Glad that you seem to be okay now… hopefully will have another chance to meet up with you sometime in the near future.

She flew into Vegas for our 43T meetup on 4/14 with her beau Matty. It was nice talking with her about Australia, a place rapidly moving up the list of places I want to visit.

I met Saara (and her hubby) today in Sharjah. She’s so very cool… lots of fun, great to talk with, an amazing tour guide (I learned so much from her)... and just generally fabulous! It was so good to experience her sense of humour, intelligence, and strength of character in person.

I had a wonderful day with her… visiting museums and souqs, drinking Arabic coffee, and tea. And, how’s this… I get to see her again on Monday! At her house! Yay!
